In Neskowin, OR

I spent a little bit of time this morning at the beach reading, since it was already a bit warm and the sun was shining. It was next to my campsite. JoJo was nestled inside my jacket to keep extra warm.

I had a quick stop at the local farmers market, where I brought a huge bunch of lettuce, swiss chard, cherries, strawberries, a beef burrito and a sourdough donut. Oh, and some fudge from a guy that was born and lived in Phoenix.

I passed by several little towns including a stop at Depoe Bay, Oregon. There was nothing that distinctive in town other than the touristy salt water taffy, ice cream, popcorn, and import gift shops. But the view was beyond stunning with rocky chasms and sand dune cliffs. It was a good time to get out and take a walk, and as usual, JoJo was the key attraction. Honestly I feel like I'm carrying a celebrity
sometimes.

I found Mossy Creek Pottery, off the beaten path in a charming little home filled with 40 artists, from Oregon and some from Washington State. Of course I bought a souvenir, and was inspired by the shapes and colors, and longing to be back in my own studio... creating.

Tonight I'm in a boondocking mode, at a rest stop, and it's exceptionally quiet along the shore, up on a cliff, where I can still hear the crashing waves. It was interesting watching the fog roll in.
