Rialto Beach, WA

Sometimes I just take some time to do absolutely nothing. It was a 45-minute drive to Rialto Beach, which takes me back to the edge of the Pacific. As I approached, I recognized the landscape. The beach is scattered with logs, and trees that have perished. It's a somewhat challenging climb over and around the logs onto the rock beach. I spent a bit of time reading, and catching up on computer stuff. We took a long walk, as I listened to the surf and admired more rock monoliths.

It's quite misty, and overcast and requires three layers of clothing to stay warm.

I'm headed off to find yet another primitive campsite in the state forest. My stay at the river last night was great, however there was a very inconsiderate camper who ran his generator for quite a while and at 6am, first thing this morning. There's been quite the debate via Facebook, regarding this issue and the complexities, and considerations of RV camping. I for one, make a point of being unobtrusive. I like my quiet time. The last image here is a "score" in the state forest. It's free, and so far pretty darn quiet.
