Black Hawk, CO

June 25, 2022

I decided to go south from my campsite to the town of Black Hawk Colorado. Sure enough I spent another few hours making sure my accounts were secure updating username and passwords, and canceling two of my debit cards. I received another call from one of the scammers this morning and blocked these calls and have submitted a report to Paypal. Boy I’m angry and I resent the scammers who have taken out hours of my precious time to deal with this. My fault for using the email information and not going directly to the website. I see how people can easily be scammed. Nonetheless I didn’t find anything in Blackhawk except for row upon row of casinos. I figured it was time for a hike to work out my stress, and did so for an hour with Jo Jo who’s been patiently waiting with me sitting in the RV while I’ve been on the phone. I hiked the Maryland Mountain Hidden Treasure Hike. It was a fairly easy hike very slowly climbing in elevation but it gave me a unique Birdseye view down into the town of Black Hawk. I turned around after about 30 minutes as it started to sprinkle but I feel like I had a pretty good hike and I felt better returning to my camp. Reception was still spotting in Black Hawk, so I used my cell boost antenna with the my rv chassis electrical system on. For hours. Once I got ready to leave my, battery was drained. That’s just adding insult to injury but, fortunately in my RV, I have a battery boost button which takes the battery from the house portion of the Winnebago to jumpstart the chassis engine. It worked. I couldn’t get wait to get back to my camp spot.  It was a very chilly evening with some more rain, but I comfortably cozied up in my Sylver Gypsy, actually watching some PBS news show which can be equally depressing as being scammed.
