Eagle River Campground, near Anchorage, AK

As I inch towards Anchorage, I need to shift gears a bit from my blissful vacation mode to the chore mode. Yes, life does catch up! But I’m definitely resistant. Laundry, prescription pick up, auto zone, tire rotation, credit union, debit card snafu/headache, rv wash, gas fill up, auto zone again, Napa, o'reilys, o'reilys again, replace cabin filter, Walmart, and back to camp. Definitely not glamorous chores, and driving around Anchorage in unfamiliar places can be less than fun. People ask me all the time. Where is the worst traffic? Any place in a city where plenty of people are impatient, and in a hurry, which in my case I won’t and can’t participate. It’s often I get honked at or a dirty look, as I must be looked at if I am a monster vehicle on the road. I’m not, it’s just that I can’t be as quick as them!
