To Johnson Lake, AK

It was a foggy, drizzly morning heading out of Homer. After a stop for a cinnamon roll, we found Kate's Gallery, a woman who created beaded tapestry wall pieces, purses, and jewelry. She did amazing work, and has shown at the Smithsonian. What a special find on the road to nowhere!

We hiked a bit at Crooked Creek Camp, then found Johnson Lake campground near Kasilof, near Soldotna. The rain cleared a bit before we walked some more. I set up my bike, where we both took a spin. We had a relaxing evening.
