Holbox and Joya before going home

We visited an island called a Holbox. An interesting beautiful, sandy island, we reached by a small boat with tourists from Germany, and France. This is home for many migratory birds, including stork.  We had time to walk the clean, calm water, and shell lined beaches. The whole town was unexpectedly unpaved. Just naturally filled sandy streets, and sandy sidewalks everywhere. Puddles were lined up and down, and four wheel drive vehicles were speeding past. it was charming, however shockingly sandy covered everything. This would not be a place for people with ocd. We had lunch in a covered cafe, with you guessed it, a sand floor, and had time for some shopping. I bought a beautiful hand macrame headband, with fine detail, that I will add onto my visor. Our intention was to go and see the Cirque De Soleil show called "Joya." It's what we looked at doing before we planned our trip here.
