Near Atlanta, GA

I finally have the opportunity to connect with the family! My Uncle Helmut, Aunt Mary and cousins live near Atlanta. I was able to spend an afternoon and evening with great conversation, and reminiscing about my grandparents. My Uncle is my mother's brother. I also met Jaxon, my little cousin, for the first time. He is 6 years old, and I think a mini me to my  cousin, Brad. It was some adjustment for Jo Jo, as he is not used to little kids. But by the next day they were playing a game of cat and mouse, as Jo Jo would chase Jaxon who managed to narrowly escape by jumping on a chair. Jo Jo only has one cannine tooth left, so he is completely harmless even if he tries to bite. It was schreeking loads of entertainment for both of them. We enjoyed a lovely dinner together, and it was almost like old times celebrating holidays back in Rochester. The next day I stopped at Kennesaw National Park. It was raining pretty hard, so I didn't hike a trail. But I learned about the civil war battles fought and won on these mountains. What a profoundly different life we have from what there was in 1860!

I drove towards Greenville and boonbocked at an rv dealership. My fridge was acting up. The next day they checked, and all is fine. With all the rain going on my solar panel was not able to charge the battery. It's seems fine now.
