New Jersey road trip

I am not that far from New Castle. I drove east towards New Jersey, and before I knew it, I found a farmers market. I just had to stop and get an ear of corn, a fresh tomato, and some fresh strawberries. It is now my mission, this time of year, to find these farm markets. I routinely Google "things to do" in my area, so basically I enter "areas of interest" in the town that I'm seeking. One of the first things that appeared was The "Palace of Depression" construction near Vineland. It was just a few miles from my area, and  when I pulled up, it looked like they were closed. But then I met Kevin, my tour guide. The Palace of Depression was a building made of junk by an eccentric man, George Daynor, who had and lost a fortune in the Great Depression crash. Kevin was 5 years old when he met George, and shared details of this house. George bought this land, for a steal because it was a junk yard and swamp. He used the items in the junk yard, including bricks, rocks, bottles, metal in a mixed media collage to construct the walls. He used auto parts, wheels, and struts to create openings, or windows. As an artist I really appreciated the mix of materials, and now I want to go home and make a fence wall doing the same thing. Kevin hopes to officially open to the public by next year along with with a visitors center. Read more about it here:

I found Bellview Winery and spent the night in a field next to the vineyard. I saw a robin. I love robins, and miss seeing them.
