A relaxing day at the beach

It rained this morning. I spent a bit of time doing morning doing chores, including clean up of Jo Jo, who seems to have a spell of diarrhea. He got his summer hair cut trim "in that area," to help him out in the future, and some cheddar cheese to help stuff him up. Ugh. Needless to say, the Sylver Gypsy has been cleaned and sterilized. Apparently he is a baby, and should wear diapers.

I went to Enderts Beach, where I stopped last night, as cell reception was good here. (non-exsistant at the campsite) The sun came out, and after a really long walk on the beach with Jo Jo, I settled down to read some more of my book. There was just enough of sun, then clouds, where it went from it being a tad warm to being a tad chilly. There was literally nobody else here on the beach, except for an occasional walker. I found a few good sized sand dollars, a large star fish, and also caught a view of a blue heron. I collected bright orange stones too. After spending a good part of my morning here, I headed into town to the visitor's center to find out more of where to go in this last northern part of the Redwood forest. I also stopped at a place called Sylvia's Attic, an antique store run by an 83 year old woman whose name was also Sylvia. She mentioned seeing me in the store, 2 days ago and remembers Jo Jo. I told her that I had never been in the store, but maybe she had a premonition that I was going to show up. I also introduced myself as Sylvia. She seemed surprised. She was charming, told me some stories about her Dad, and I found a stainless steel lid that fit my mini RV frying pan.

Using one of my many apps, I found a boondocking site at Elk Valley Casino. Before spending a free night here, they want you to get a free gambling card. No strings attached, but security basically wants you to register. They want you to gamble, but I couldn't stand the smoke and noise. I have not gone out to dinner at all, thus far on my trip, so I decided to buy dinner, a chicken sandwich on ciabatta.

I moved into the back overflow parking lot, which is an awesome rural farm-like plot. Super quiet, private, and I am the only one here. Awesome.
