Good Bye, Death Valley National Park

Taking the drive home now, as I witnessed a spectacular sunrise. Within minutes clouds set in, and it got grey. So thats a good thing for driving without glare. I cruised past Las Vegas, and listened to NPR for most of the 6 hour drive. Thats my maximum time these days, as doing this alone is tiring enough.

The sad news regarding the Ukraine war is maddening, and heart wrenching. While I am out having adventures, and fun times. Its definitely not something I take for granted. I think a lot about that.

I was grateful to arrive home in the afternoon, safe and sound. Death Valley National Park was so much more than I expected. And I enjoyed every moment. And I picked a great time of the year to go, where the weather was perfect.

One more off my bucket list, as I do my best to keep the momentum going! And I hope to return again one day soon.
