Mueller State Park, CO

Well, I didn’t feel too well this morning. I don’t know if it’s the elevation sickness, (9700’) or just the events of previous days, but I was really out of it this morning. And, yes it’s popcorn, any corn, that is giving me an allergic reaction. Or is it? Another day of facial swelling. Even a day and a half later, I’m still feeling the facial allergic swelling. So all the photos, as of late, are facial swelling. Puffy face. Awesome. I’m trying to put that aside and go on about my adventures. I made the decision to spend another night here at Muller State Park. So I called and hoped that they would have a space open, and they did. Apparently, according to them, I got the last electric hook up site available for a Monday. After a very slow start, I decided that today was a day of chores. I headed out to the town of Divide, about 7 miles away, to gather groceries and get gas. I spent the rest of the day cooking and doing laundry and clean up, and by early afternoon, I felt up to a small hike. But it’s rather chilly, barely 70°, with a lot of wind. I definitely took a nice long shower and walked Jo Jo several times, and caught up on basic Internet stuff. I had to move to a new site, but it was a quiet new home. Sometimes it just benefits keeping things simple for a day.
