Well, I had some stuff to do online, including my follow up with CVS pharmacy and my meds. Long story short, they’re sending me a gift card as a restitution. At this stage I’m not fully retired, so I’m always fielding inquiries from customers, or colleagues, or just general issues that need to be resolved. It’s just part of day-to-day business. So it took me way too long to leave my campsite here. All things considered I only heard the train twice overnight. it was still enough to wake me. But my neighbor, literally 10 feet away, had the ultimate loud conversation on his phone first thing this morning. Before 7am. Breath! I got on my way and seriously didn’t get more than 20 minutes down the road towards a place called Williams Fork Reservoir.
There were several spaces available as I kept driving, hoping to find one right along the edge of the water, and I did. A tight small space, but never an issue for the Sylver Gypsy. It was overcast, and thundering and I was hoping it would stay that way to keep the sun from beating down, as there is literally not a single tree. only a few willow like bushes growing right at the shore. This is an area that I would describe more as a prairie open field land, with a lot of grass, and farms throughout the area. It’s actually quite pretty, very hilly with mountains in the distance. This is a reservoir, so limited to fisherman but not a beach like environment. Still, I splashed myself up a bit, to keep me cool. I didn’t add anything to the reservoir that the birds, fish or other native animals might have contributed. So far, I’m crossing my fingers that it stays peaceful and quiet. I need that more than the air that I breathe… it seems.
