Alaska: The Last Frontier

Well... its about to happen. After putting it off for 3 long covid years, I am finally making my way towards Alaska, the last "American Frontier," or so they say.  The Sylver Gypsy, Jo Jo and I are ready to head out, and as usual, I hope that I have everything that I need. I have done this many times, so I feel 99% prepared. (1% doubt) Passport, meds, CA, and US money, Jo Jo stuff, iPhone apps, documents, maps, and plenty of clothes, shoes, food staples, and a clear and flexible mind. I am leaving with a very loose itinerary, and willing and able to change things in a moments notice. My chest is still aching from my recent fall. But with nothing that I can do about it, I will just hope to continue to make improvements.

My target is Dawson Creek for now, Mile 0 Alaska Highway, and so much thereafter. I have been reading many blogs, and fb forums, and feel up to the adventure! As always, I am excited, and apprehensive. Jo Jo's health is stable, and he is doing well. I am not concerned as he is such a great, relaxed traveler. I am looking forward to being with him 24/7, as we are each others greatest companions.

I hope for a restful night heading towards southern Utah on May 23, 2023.
