Camping Next to 3 Ponds

I am taking a low-key day today. I feel like I have the honor of a beautiful space, so I’m taking it all in. And it’s 95% mosquito free, which is a biggie. The temperatures are very comfortable, low 70s, and peaceful. I am by myself here in this beautiful space. I saw a loon this morning, and a bald eagle, and plenty of ducks with their ducklings. I was almost tempted for a swim, but no, I needed a few more degrees to do that!

    1. It’s been truly epic, Trish. I didn’t want to leave my pond, but now I am at the gateway to Denali, and will be entering the park tomorrow for a three day stay at Teklanika River campsite. Every day is a pinch me moment!
